If you like to bake or have a Valentine's dish you would like to donate, the Cedar Vale Memorial Library is having their annual Sweetheart Bake Sale to raise funds for programs and books! Then come in on Friday, February 13th to pick up something sweet for your sweetie (or friend, or family). From flowers to cards, gifts, and treats... we'll have just what you need!Our Annual Sweet heart Bake Sale is coming soon! If you are able to donate baked goods or sweets, we greatly appreciate your contribution! Mark it on your calendars, this year will be THE year you don't want to miss!

Here in Cedar Vale we are looking at "MAJOR impacts with considerable disruptions to daily life, dangerous or impossible driving." The wind and cold are the major impacts for today, Friday, January 23. Snow and ice will begin tomorrow. If you need anything the library can help with, we have lots of books, please come in, call. or send a carrier pigeon. We will get everything ready for you and even bring it to your car if you don't want to get out.
